one family, two languages
I love your blog! The posts on bilingualism are fascinating.
Oh I really enjoyed that! Your blog is so interesting. I think you've given your daughter such a wonderful gift. We go to France every year and I'm embarrassed by how poor my french is. I don't want the kids to lack confidence like me, so I'm going to try harder this summer when we're there, and then maybe they will too. Great that I now know where to come for some helpful advice :)
Have a wonderful time in France! One of the best ways of interesting kids in French is unleashing them in a boulangerie...who can resist fresh pain au chocolat?!
That was really nice to hear the two voices! Tess reminds me a bit of Noémie, there's that trace of having started speaking English first!! Very cute. But she speaks super well French. N is 4 and 3 months and catching up her French but still tells me speaking English is "more easy".
That's really interesting, I wonder if French will become "more easy" as she gets older...it's fascinating stuff!
